Dear Participants, Caregivers, and Community Members,
It has been one month since I reached out to communicate with you about upcoming changes at Cooperative Elder Services, Inc. (CESI) in Burlington.
In the past several weeks my team and I have enjoyed the chance to connect with participants and caregivers to learn more about how we can support individual and family decisions given this transition. We have started to welcome many participants at either our Acton or Arlington centers. It has been a joy to see this happen and to experience how welcoming the CESI teams and participants in our Acton and Arlington centers have been.
If you or someone you know is still in the process of making decisions about future attendance, we are here to support you! CESI staff is available to assist with transition logistics and we look forward to talking with you further at any time.
We have received immediate support from professionals in and around the town of Burlington regarding our continued search for space that will meet our regulatory requirements. CESI’s leadership team, the Board of Directors and I continue to be encouraged about finding a new location that will meet our needs, but we know this process will take some time. As of today, we do not have any breaking news to report, and our commitment to share any news regarding a new location with you as soon as we can continues.
I want to thank you for your understanding, flexibility, and support throughout this transition time at Cooperative Elder Services, Inc. I know that this has been a time of great change and challenge. It has been an honor to serve you, and we hope to continue to see you either in the community or at our Acton or Arlington locations.
If you have any questions, please contact me or Program Director Kris Wuerdeman at 978-448-1400.
Sincerely,
Erica Johnson
Executive Director
