On January 23rd, Cooperative Elder Services, Inc. (CESI) and the Bedford Council on Aging will launch the Bedford Memory Café. These monthly gatherings will provide much-needed support, stimulation, and education for families living with dementia in the greater-Bedford area.
At the Bedford Memory Café, individuals living with Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia – along with their caregivers – will gather in a relaxed, stigma-free environment to experience a sense of community and enjoy activities tailored to their interests and strengths.
The Bedford Memory Café will be held on the fourth Tuesday of each month from 10:00am to 12:00pm at the Bedford Council on Aging (12 Mudge Way, Bedford, 2nd Floor Flint Room).
Walk-ins are welcome, RSVPs are appreciated, and the program is free of charge for attendees thanks to the generous support of the Friends of the Bedford Council on Aging, Carleton-Willard Village, and the Bedford Rotary Foundation. Please note that a care partner must accompany guests who require personal care assistance.)
